Sunday 1st September – Tractor Pull from Loughrea to Ballinasloe in aid of Galway Hospice!

9 local teams will come out in force on Sunday next, 1st September, to pull a tractor from Loughrea to Ballinasloe, just to raise funds for Galway Hospice.

Heaving off from Loughrea GAA pitch at 9am, the various teams will be waiting at designated relay points along the way, including Portumna Road, Kilreekil, Newgrove, Cappatagle Cross, Oatfield, Aughrim Village, Caher Cross, Garbally and finishing in St Michael’s Square in Ballinasloe at approximately 2pm, followed by light refreshments and a trad session in nearby Haydens Hotel.

All proceeds raised will be donated to Galway Hospice and everyone is welcome to come out along the route and show your support for the teams. For more information, log onto their Facebook page, ‘Loughrea to Ballinasloe Tractor Pull’.

If you wish to be part of a team, contact Paul Kelly on 087 2233777.  All support will be much appreciated!
