Healthcare professionals, complementary therapists and others working in supportive and therapeutic care settings are invited to attend this unique two-day HEARTS Process Training.
Delivered by Galway Hospice Foundation’s Aromatherapy Team in collaboration with internationally recognised educator and co-author of The HEARTS Process, Dr Peter Mackereth (UK), this practical programme explores how Hands-on techniques, Empathy, Aromas, Relaxation, Textures and Sound can be combined to promote comfort, calm and wellbeing for patients and carers.
The programme combines presentations, demonstrations and hands-on practice sessions, providing participants with practical skills that can be applied across a range of supportive, palliative, oncology and dementia care settings.
The HEARTS Process Training will take place:
Venue: Galway Hospice, Old Dublin Road, Galway
Dates: Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th August 2026
Time: 9.00am – 4.30pm each day
This is a two-day, in-person programme combining presentations, demonstrations and practical hands-on learning experiences.
