Saturday next, 4th October – donate unwanted books to benefit Galway Hospice!

Hospice Poster 2014 (Copy)Do you have any unwanted books taking up space or gathering dust in your home?  Would you donate them to Galway Hospice if you knew that they are worth money to us?  Well they are!  Next Saturday, 4th October, all your unwanted books can be dropped into Number 18, Liosban Retail Park, Tuam Road, Galway (beside Kenny’s Bindery) between 9am and 5pm.

If next Saturday doesn’t suit you, why not bring them to Galway Hospice beforehand, and we will deliver them to Kenny’s on Saturday!  Alternatively, you could drop them into our new Shop, “Forget Me Not Flowers and Gifts” on Renmore Road (formerly Molloy’s Supermarket).  Every single book counts!  And if you have a quantity of books, we might even collect them from you (Galway City only), given a bit of notice! (091-770868)

Books will then be sorted and sold and will ensure an immediate benefit to Galway Hospice.  Books that are unsuitable for sale will be re-cycled and all recycling proceeds will be donated to Galway Hospice.  Books in good condition, on any subject or in any language, are accepted.   Preferably, bring your books in boxes rather than bags, but we’ll take them in armfuls if that’s the way they come!   Books not accepted include Journals, Periodicals, Copy Books, Colouring Books and telephone directories.

Thank you for supporting Galway Hospice!
