The Galway Hospice Memorial Walk returns on Sunday, 13th September, bringing families, friends and supporters together to remember and celebrate loved ones while raising vital funds for Galway Hospice.
The Memorial Walk has been part of the Galway community for over 20 years and is a special opportunity to walk in memory of someone you love and miss, while supporting patients and families across Galway.
The 6.5km walk will begin at The Claddagh Hall at 12 noon, taking participants along Salthill Prom before returning to The Claddagh.
Many participants choose to wear a personalised T-shirt bearing the name of a loved one they are remembering. Everyone is welcome to take part, whether you are walking in memory of someone special, supporting a loved one or simply joining us for the day.
Following the walk, there will be live music, children’s entertainment and refreshments at The Claddagh Hall.
Funds raised through the Memorial Walk help Galway Hospice continue providing specialist palliative care and support to patients and families across Galway.
