Kilbeacanty Turkey Run raises €2400.35 for Galway Hospice

Many thanks to the organisers of the Kilbeacanty Turkey Run who recently raised €2400.35 for Galway Hospice through the event.  The Turkey Run took place on St Stephen’s Day last and raised a fantastic total of €4800.70 which they shared between Galway Hospice and Gort Cancer Care.

This is the second year that the organisers have donated a share of proceeds to Galway Hospice.

Events like this are so important to Galway Hospice in terms of continuing fundraising requirements. We have to raise €1.5 million EVERY year simply to try and keep pace with the demand for our services. We depend so much on people like Benny, Gerry and the two Colms who dedicate their time and efforts to raising essential funds for Galway Hospice. Thanks again to everyone who took part in the Turkey Run and of course thanks to everyone who supported their fundraising.
