Joyce Country Challenge in aid of Galway and Mayo/Roscommon Hospices

The Annual Joyce Country Challenge is taking place this year on Saturday 16th July 2011.  This event presents the opportunity to walk one of Ireland’s hidden gems and, in the process, to raise much needed funds for Galway Hospice and Mayo/Roscommon Hospice. There will be 3 grades of walk to choose from, ranging from a ‘Ramble’ (for the less experienced walker), to a ‘Challenge’ which caters for the more experienced, fit and self-sufficient walker, including a 1,936m ascent!  Along the way, there will be outstanding views of The Turks, Mweelrea, Killary harbour, The Sheefrys and the Western Lakes. For more information, contact Teresa Keane on 086 2287282 or 094 9548167.  Your support for this potentially very enjoyable event would be much appreciated.
