Declin Ward raises €4,000 for Galway Hospice through his Merseyside to Galway Cycle

IMG_2634 (Copy)Many thanks to Declin Ward from Merseyside (Liverpool), who completed a cycle from Merseyside to Galway in October, in aid of Galway Hospice. Declin undertook this amazing challenge in memory of his late mother Freda who used hospice services.

Declin completed the cycle over 6 days, visiting his homeplace in Eyrecourt along the way, where he received huge support from the locals.

Pictured with the proceeds raised are (l-r): Declin, Orla Feeney (Galway Hospice) and Declin’s father Oliver Ward.

Well done to Declin for taking on such an amazing challenge for Galway Hospice. Declin’s determination to help Galway Hospice was evident throughout his journey and without people like Declin, Galway Hospice would not be able to continue to do what we do.

Also thank you to Declin’s many family members and supporters who cheered Declin on, all the way and helped him to continue with his journey.

Well done Declin and thank you.
