‘The Conquerors Through The Years’ Live Concert – Thursday, 25th August 2016

ConquerorsGalway’s favourite band, The Conquerors, are about to celebrate 45 years on the road and to mark this very special occasion they are holding an All-Star concert this Thursday, 25th August,  at The Salthill Hotel.

On this night, The Conquerors will be joined by their very special friends, some of Ireland’s top entertainers – Ronan Collins, Marc Roberts, Red Hurley, Gina, as well as The Swarbrigg Brothers, Brendan Shine, Shaun O’ Dowd, Paddy Cole and Keith McDonald. The band will also be selling their most recent CD on the night for €15, €5 of which will be donated to Galway Hospice. In addition, a raffle will also take place, with all raffle proceeds going to Galway Hospice also.

Tickets for the event cost €25 each and are available from The Salthill Hotel (091 522711) and Opus 2 (091 500300), as well as on the door on the night. Doors open at 7.30 p.m.

It promises to be a night of superb music.  All are welcome to come along, and there’s the bonus of supporting Galway Hospice in the process!

Every year, Galway Hospice must raise €1.8 million to ensure the provision of Hospice Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services throughout Galway city and county.  Galway Hospice depends hugely on fundraising events like this one to reach this annual target.  Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
