Tree of Lights Celebration at Galway Hospice celebrates 10th Anniversary

Sponsor a Light in memory of a loved one

Celebrating 10 years of their tree lighting ceremony, Galway Hospice invite you to attend the lighting of their beautiful Christmas tree at Galway Hospice on Sunday 3rd December at 5pn. The Galway Hospice Tree of Lights Celebration is a special festive event where many come to celebrate lighting a light on the memorial tree in memory of their loved one, who are much loved and missed.

Joining us for our 10th year is well known tv personality and friend of Galway Hospice, Dáithí Ó Sé who will do the honours of switching on the tree. Festive music and entertainment will take place on the evening with Galway Tenors, Frank Naughton and Sean Costello, Cois Cladaigh Choir, Máirín Fahy and Chris Kelly.

“The Tree of Lights Celebration is an important event in the Galway Hospice calendar and for the people of Galway, it is an opportunity to remember and celebrate our loved ones who have passed away. We are very much looking forward to lighting the Christmas tree on this our 10th Tree of Lights celebration” explains Director of Fundraising and Communications at Galway Hospice, Charlene Hurley.

Sincere thanks to Phil Grealish and St Columba’s Credit Union Mervue for their contribution to the Tree of Lights Celebration once again, and to the special guests and musicians for their support of Galway Hospice.
