The Galway Hospice Weekly Draw – you could win €1000!

Recently, using the services of An Post, we delivered a promotional leaflet to every home in County Galway.  We are promoting the Galway Hospice Weekly Draw, which now has a first prize of €1000 every week!  The response to the promotion has been very good, with hundreds of new subscribers returning the completed application form for the Draw.  Our sincere thanks to EVERYONE who responded, but most especially to those who have been members of the Draw for many years or indeed at any time since it was launched nearly 25 years ago.  The new promotion marks the increase in the first prize from €637 to €1000 per week.  Maybe you didn’t receive the promotional leaflet, or perhaps it was mislaid?  Well, the good news is that you can join the hospice weekly draw anytime!  The Weekly Draw has been the bedrock of our fundraising.  It provides us with a steady, reliable income all year round.  This is hugely important for an organisation, like Galway Hospice, with continuing staff costs that have to be met all year round.  There is a continuing increase in demand for our services, with the result that we have to look at increasing the level of Home Care and Day Care services we provide.  These services rely totally on voluntary contributions.  You can help us with this!  So, for as little as €1.27 a week (equivalent to 18c a day) you can become a member of the Galway Hospice Weekly Draw.  Not alone will you be helping us, but you could potentially win €1000 every week!  All members are entitled to attend the Draw each week.  The Draw takes place at 12 noon each Tuesday at the hospice, and the results are published in local papers, and on our website www.galwayhospice.ie.  If interested in joining, you are welcome to contact our Fundraising Department on 091-770868 (office hours), or by email to fundraising@galwayhospice.ie.  Alternatively, you are welcome to send your contact number by private Message to this Facebook site and we will get in contact with you.  Thank you!!!
