The Conn O’Mara Loop-athon in aid of Galway Hospice – New Year’s Eve 2011

The Conn O’Mara Loop-athon is taking place on Saturday 31st December 2011 in Clifden to raise money for Galway Hospice.  The event is a 5.6 km Run/Walk with a registration fee of just €10 and all monies raised on the day will be donated to Galway Hospice.

The route will be starting at Faoin Tuath, continuing down the Beach Road and back the Sky Road – then along by the Town Hall onto Main Bridge Street and Market Street and finally finishing outside Lowry’s Bar.  This is for runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels and the aim is to get people out and moving in aid of Galway Hospice on New Year’s Eve.
No timing devices will be used on the day and no medals will be awarded, as the event is focused on fun and goodwill!  So, come on out, enjoy the fresh air, and build up a great appetite for dinner on New Year’s Day!

What better way to help shift those extra christmas pounds while supporting Galway Hospice. Please support!
