Table Quiz in memory of Gerry McCarthy raises €2,175.95 for Galway Hospice

A table quiz in memory of Gerry McCarthy and in aid of Galway Hospice took place on Saturday, 2nd December 2017 in Conneely’s Bar, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, raising €2,175.95, with additional donations made following the official cheque presentation. The memorial event was organised by Gerry’s friends, who said that Gerry himself loved table quizzes.

Galway Hospice, together with the organising committee (pictured) of this special memorial event, would like to sincerely thank everyone for their kind and generous support on the night. A special word of thanks to the Conneely family for hosting the event, and congratulations to the night’s winners, Aidan Kitt, Declan Kitt, Sean Collins and Donie Fahy.

Every year, Galway Hospice must raise €1.8 million to maintain current levels of Hospice Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services throughout Galway city and county.  Galway Hospice depends hugely on fundraising endeavours like this one to reach this annual fundraising target.  Thank you for your continued support.
