A table quiz in memory of Gerry McCarthy and in aid of Galway Hospice took place on Saturday, 2nd December 2017 in Conneely’s Bar, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, raising €2,175.95, with additional donations made following the official cheque presentation. The memorial event was organised by Gerry’s friends, who said that Gerry himself loved table quizzes.

Every year, Galway Hospice must raise €1.8 million to maintain current levels of Hospice Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services throughout Galway city and county.
