Join the Hospice Sunflower Fun Day!

Galway Hospice would love your school or pre-school to get involved in our new event for Hospice Sunflower Days 2024, Sunflower Fun Day!

Hospice Sunflower Days raise much-needed funds for Galway Hospice. This year, we are calling on primary schools and pre-schools to support Galway Hospice by participating in a Sunflower Fun Day this May or June!

Taking part is easy. Pupils are asked to get involved by wearing yellow to school or pre-school on any date that suits. Children and staff can be as inventive and creative as they wish, they could wear a yellow T-shirt, giant yellow glasses, or go even bigger and dress up as a sunflower! All they need to do is wear something yellow and have fun!

Ready to host a Sunflower Fun Day at your school or pre-school? Here’s how:

1. Register your school or pre-school below or contact Galway Hospice Fundraising on 091-770868 or email fundraising@galwayhospice.ie
2. Ask pupils to wear a yellow item of clothing to school on your chosen Sunflower Fun Day
3. Ask families to donate €2, or whatever they can

You will receive a downloadable pack containing digital posters to advertise your event, digital colouring sheets and a letter to inform parents of the planned day and Sunflower Seeds for the children to have fun planting!
