Sunday 8th April 2012 – “Absent Friends” Easter Swim in aid of Galway Hospice

This year the Absent Friends Christmas Day Swim was postponed to Easter, so it is now taking place this Sunday (Easter Sunday) 8th April at Blackrock, Salthill.  This proves to be a very memorable event each year, and again this year all proceeds will be donated to Galway Hospice.

Everyone is welcome to take part and to do so, you just need to come along to Blackrock on Easter Sunday morning. The Swim is scheduled to start at mid-day.  Refreshments and goodies will be provided afterwards!

This is a great way to spend Easter Sunday morning, all for a worthy charity!!!  And for those who would prefer to “pass” on a swim in this lovely weather, then why not come along anyway and show your support!
