Sunday 2nd April – Monard Charity Chase in aid of Galway Hospice

Drawing of Horse [640x480]The Monard Charity Chase will be taking place again this year on Sunday 2nd April, with proceeds raised being donated to Galway Hospice.  Now in its 20th year, the Monard Charity Chase has already raised the phenomenal amount of €92,120.49 for Galway Hospice since it began in 1997, and this year’s target is to reach the €100,000 mark!!

The event began as a small idea to raise money for a worthy cause and provide an enjoyable day out in the process, and since then it has gone from strength to strength each year.

This year, the Charity Chase is taking place on the 2nd April, leaving Turloughmore at 12noon.  The half-time break will be in Peter’s Yard, where the raffle will take place, with fantastic prizes, and the Chase is scheduled to finish at approximately 5pm.

As usual, the day will be action packed, with the main event of the day being the Cross Country and Hack.  Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a great day out, while supporting Galway Hospice in the process.
