Sunday 1st July – Currafest 2012 in aid of Galway Hospice

It’s that time of year again!!  CurraFest, the west of Ireland’s best outdoor music festival, is back again this year after its super success in 2011.  This year Currafest takes place on Sunday July 1st & promises to be even bigger & better than last year! The event is being held as a tribute to the late Niamh Monahan and all proceeds from the event will be donated again this year to Galway Hospice.

The super line-up includes Big Generator, Amazing Apples, Hot Fuzz, J90, Furry Village, the Deans, Oddity and many more fantastic bands!! There is also a kid’s area with bouncing castles, face painting and games, and – even better – kids go free!  Gates open at mid-day

Tickets are now on sale from the following locations:

  • Music World, Loughrea
  • Paul’s Service Station, Loughrea
  • McCormack’s Bar, Currafest site, Curra, Co.Galway
  • Gala Service Station, Portumna
  • Safety Direct Retail Store, Tuam Rd, Galway
