Sunday 12th August: Summer Fest Cycle 2012 in aid of Galway Hospice and Glenamaddy Festival

The Summer Fest Cycle 2012 will be taking place on Sunday 12th August from Glenamaddy Community Hall.  All proceeds from the event will be donated to Galway Hospice and Glenamaddy Festival.  Cyclists can register by logging onto www.glenamaddycycle.com or by telephoning 087 2250875.

Registration forms are also available from Donnie Keaveney’s on Church Street, Glenamaddy.

 Cyclists have a choice of two challenges:

  • A 20km Leisurely Cycle (Entry fee €10)
  • A 40km Cycling Challenge (Entry fee €15)

The cycle kicks off at 12 noon from Glenamaddy Community Centre.  Registration on the day will be open from 10.30am. Refreshments will be provided after the cycle and all participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Please note that all cyclists MUST wear a helmet and anyone without a helmet will be refused participation.

All proceeds from the cycle will be shared between Galway Hospice and Glenamaddy Festival.  Your support for this event would be much appreciated.
