Study Day for Nurses in Residential Care Facilities

A study day for Nurses in Residential Care Facilities takes place at Galway Hospice on February 23rd from 8:30am – 4pm. Topics covered include Delirium and Dementia, Communication and breaking bad news, Advanced Care Planning, Palliative care needs of patients with non-malignant conditions, recognition and management of the dying person and there will also be a Syringe driver workshop.

Tickets are available at Study Day for Nurses in Residential Care Facilities – Galway Hospice Foundation. Lunch is also included in the ticket price.

This study day is Bord Altranais, Category 1 approved (6CEUs).
