‘Something to Sing About’ Choir raises €2,000 for Galway Hospice

Cheque Presentation (Copy)A huge thank you to the ‘Something to Sing About’ Choir, who recently presented a cheque for €2,000 to Colette Dodd of Galway Hospice.

The group raised these proceeds for Galway Hospice through a concert which was held in the Salthill Hotel  in aid of Galway Hospice.

Thank you to the wonderful members of the choir and to everyone who supported their concert in aid of Galway Hospice.

The ‘Something to Sing About’ choir was set up in 2012 by Professor Paul Donnellan (oncologist) and is made up of cancer survivors. The main objective of the choir is to benefit the community by the provision of support for patients and survivors of cancer, through a share of musical activity and counselling, music therapy, health talks and workshops.

The choir are very grateful to the many artists who give their time free of charge for events etc. They would also like to thank the G Hotel, who allows them to rehearse every Wednesday night at 7pm free of charge, and they are sincerely grateful for the wonderful generosity and support they continually receive from their family and friends.

On behalf of Galway Hospice, we would like to sincerely thank the ‘Something to Sing About’ choir and to everyone who supported their concert in aid of Galway Hospice.

Thank you!
