Gort Smile-a-thon for Galway Hospice

Transition Year students at Gort Community School recently held a sponsored “Smile-a-thon” day in memory of one of their teachers, Virginia Keane, and raised €2374 for Galway Hospice in the process.

Pictured (smiling!) is Orla Duggan, Chaplain of Gort Community School, presenting the cheque to Michael Craig (smiling even more!) of Galway Hospice on behalf of the students.  Well done to everyone concerned!
