Saturday 20th July – 2013 Joyce Country Challenge in aid of Galway Hospice and Mayo / Roscommon Hospice

It’s that time of year again!!! The Annual Joyce Country Challenge will be taking place this year on next Saturday 20th July, with all proceeds being shared between Galway Hospice and Mayo/Roscommon Hospice Foundation. This challenge presents an opportunity to walk one of Ireland’s hidden gems, while raising much needed funds for two local charities.

There will be 4 grades of walk to choose from, ranging from a ‘Ramble’ (for the less experienced walker), to a ‘Challenge’ which caters for the more experienced, fit and self-sufficient walker, including a 1,936m ascent! Along the way, there will be outstanding views of Lough Nafooey, Lough na Fooey, Devil’s Mother and lots more.

For more information, log onto http://www.lakedistricthwc.com or Facebook page ‘Lake District Hillwalking Club’. Alternatively email debbiekanakis@gmail.com

Your support for this event would be much appreciated.
