Saturday 1st June 2013 – Dooley Family start 6000km 12-country Bradley Landrover Challenge

Best of luck to the Dooley family, who are going to drive a rebuilt 20 year old Land Rover Defender 110 through 12 countries in 20 days, covering over 6000 km.  Maureen, Seamus, Cormac, Kirby and Saoirse Dooley are undertaking this challenge, not alone to raise funds for Galway Hospice, but also to raise awareness for Galway Hospice and the dedication of their staff.

The trip is as follows: Galway – London – Paris – Brussels – Amsterdam – Frankfurt – Zurich – Milan – Monaco – Barcelona – Toulouse – Bourdeaux – Tours – Paris – Brighton – Cardiff – Rosslare – Galway.  The mammoth journey will launch off from Galway on Saturday next, 1st June 2013.

Seamus has spent 2 years rebuilding his beloved Land Rover, ably assisted by his very patient wife Maureen and their very enthusiastic “are we there yet” children, Cormac, (12), Kirby (10), and Saoirse (9) who even helped paint the truck.

Special thanks to JC Printers, Eventus Marquees and Bradley Land Rover in Galway for sponsorship by way of printing, vehicle awning and Land Rover Servicing.

All proceeds from The Bradley Landrover Challenge will be donated to Galway Hospice.
