Saturday 16th July – Joyce Country Challenge in aid of Galway Hospice and Mayo/Roscommon Hospices

Mountain-climbing [640x480]The annual Joyce County Challenge is now in its 10th year and will be taking place this year on Saturday 16th July in aid of both Galway Hospice and Mayo/Roscommon Hospice Foundations.  As always, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience some of Ireland’s hidden gems.  There will be a number of grades of walk to choose from, accommodating all fitness levels, and this year, there will also be a 10-mile road walk for those who prefer to stay on level ground!

This event gives you the opportunity to explore hidden gems, such as the plateau of ‘Maumtrasna’ and the ‘Devils Mother’, along with outstanding views of the Maamturks, Mweelrea, Killary harbour, the Sheefrys and the Western Lakes.

All proceeds raised from this event will be donated to Galway Hospice and Mayo / Roscommon Hospice, so not only will you be experiencing magnificent sights, but you will also be helping to make hospice services available across the three counties of Galway, Mayo and Roscommon.

So, why not dust off those walking boots and give Teresa a call on 086 228 7282 to register.
