Renmore girl Clare Quinn (13) releases CD “SMILE” in aid of Galway Hospice

Local Renmore girl Clare Quinn (aged just 13) has released her debut CD with all the proceeds donated to Galway Hospice!

Clare is a first year student of Dominican College, Taylors Hill, and a former pupil of Scoil Chaitriona, Renmore.  While a student at Scoil Chaitriona, Clare was a member of their famous school choir, and every Christmas the choir entertain the Day Care patients at Galway Hospice.

Clare, who lives only a short distance from Galway Hospice, is continuing her connection with the hospice through her very thoughtful and generous decision to donate the proceeds from her CD to Galway Hospice.  Thank you, Clare.

This beautiful CD will contain the classic Nat King Cole song “Smile”, a lovely Alison Krauss song  “It doesn’t Matter”, as well as “Edelweiss” and “The Water is Wide”.

The CD was recorded at The Forge Recording Studio in Galway and will be available from 6th November in the following Shops and Outlets in Galway City:

  • Duggan’s Newsagents and Supermarket, Renmore.
  • O’Brien’s Newsagents, William Street.
  • Carroll’s (Formerly Zhivago Records), Shop Street.
  • XL Newsagents, Eyre Square Centre, Galway.

We are very grateful to Clare, and we wish her great success with her singing and music career.
