Galway Hospice is currently seeking volunteers to provide bereavement support alongside its existing bereavement service. An information evening on this new initiative will be delivered on Wednesday 18th April at 7.30 pm in the Education Centre at Galway Hospice. Refreshments will be provided on the evening. The initiative requires volunteers to partake of 60 hours formal training in loss and bereavement, two weekend workshops (skills training) and 60 hours mentorship (offering supervision and reflection on what has been learned).
