Portumna Christmas Day Swim/Dip in aid of Galway Hospice Home Care Service

Interested in a challenge!!! Why not make this Christmas Day even more memorable by taking part in a sponsored swim in aid of the Galway Hospice Home Care service.

Taking place at the ‘Swimming Area’, Lough Derg, Portumna, the swim/dip will plunge off at 12noon and everyone is welcome to take part.

For anyone interested in this, sponsorship cards are available from Curley’s Pub and Hayes Pub in Portumna and all proceeds raised will go towards the Galway Hospice Home Care service.

The Galway Hospice Home Care service has been in operation since 1990 and last year, the Home Care team made 5345 “Hospice at Home” visits throughout county Galway, including the Aran and Inishbofin Islands.

So come along and support the Galway Hospice Home Care service by participating in this refreshing swim!!  Or if you are not taking part in the swim, why not come along anyway and support the brave swimmers?  See you there!!!
