Oughterard Golf Club Ladies Open Day for Galway Hospice

Grace Morris (Lady Captain – Oughterard Golf Club) recently presented Mary Thornton (Galway Hospice) with a cheque for €600 which was raised at the Oughterard Golf Club’s Ladies Open Day.  The event, which was held last month, proved to be very enjoyable and successful.

Our sincere thanks to Grace and to everyone at Oughterard Golf Club for arranging this fundraising event in aid of Galway Hospice.  Thanks especially to all the ladies who travelled from far and wide to take part in this event.  Fundraising events like this are very important to Galway Hospice in helping us to maintain the provision of Home Care and Day Care services.  We do not receive any funding from the State for these services.
