Marathon Man Fergus Murphy raises €2,745 for Galway Hospice!

img_1771-copyFergus Murphy of Thomastown Belclare recently presented Galway Hospice with a cheque for €2,745, which he raised through his participation in this year’s Dublin City Marathon. Fergus is pictured presenting the proceeds to Joanne Tierney of Galway Hospice.

Sincere thanks to Fergus for his immense efforts and hard work in raising funds for Galway Hospice, and to everyone who supported his fundraising efforts. Well done Fergus!

Every year, Galway Hospice must raise €1.8 million to ensure the provision of Hospice Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services throughout Galway city and county.  Galway Hospice depends hugely on people like Fergus to reach this annual fundraising target.  The support we receive is greatly appreciated.
