‘Little Cinema’ event raises €501.60 for Galway Hospice

Well done to the organisers of the ‘Little Cinema’ event, which raised €501.60 for Galway Hospice. The event, which took place in Kelly’s Bar, Bridge Street, Galway before Christmas was a fantastic night of short original festive-season-themed films, created by local film makers.

The night proved to be a huge success and the organisers recently presented Galway Hospice with the proceeds of the event.

Pictured at the cheque presentation are (l-r): Kenny Gaughan, Mary Tierney (Galway Hospice), Julia Puchovska and Liam Doherty. Thanks again to the organisers of the event and to everyone who attended or supported the event. Events like this are hugely important to Galway Hospice in terms of sustainable fundraising and it is fantastic to see an original fundraising idea like this one being so successful.

Thank to all concerned.
