Launch of Galway Hospice Christmas Cards 2010

Dana Rosemary Scallon launched the Galway Hospice Christmas Cards 2010 at a Reception in the Westwood Hotel on Tuesday 9th November 2010.  Speaking at the launch, Dana praised the work of Galway Hospice which she had recently experienced at first hand in relation to the care of a close friend.  This year’s Christmas cards are high quality six-sided cards, including seasonal recipes, greetings in Irish and English, a Christmas blessing, and a coloured seasonal motif on each envelope.  The cards, at €6.50 per box of 10, are available from 150 outlets throughout the county (or telephone 091-770868 for details).  The printing of this year’s cards was sponsored by O’Toole’s SuperValu (Tuam), Galway Stationery Ltd, Galway Independent, The Sweeney Group and Radharc Landscaping.  Pictured at the launch are (l-r): Charlie Hosty (Radharc Landscaping), Mary Ann O’Shea McCabe (The Sweeney Group), Joe O’Toole (O’Toole’s Supervalu, Tuam), Dana Rosemary Scallon, and Sean O’Healy (Galway Hospice).  Thanks to our Sponsors and to the people of Galway who have been tremendously supportive of the Galway Hospice Christmas cards over the years.
