‘Kiltevna Walkers’ raise €1,058.00 in aid of Galway Hospice!

Kiltevna Walkers 002 (Copy)Galway Hospice was recently presented with a cheque for €1,058 by the ‘Kiltevna Walkers’.  The group raised the proceeds through a sponsored 5 km run.  Pictured at the cheque presentation are: front row, sitting (l-r): Melissa Joyce and Yvonne Rabbitte. Middle row (l-r): Claire Finnegan, Laura Henry, Joanne Tierney (Galway Hospice) and Helen Gordan. Back row (l-r): Catherine Glennon, Anthony Glennon, Geraldine Martyn and Helen Gordan.

Sincere thanks to the Kiltevna Walkers and to everyone who supported their fundraising event, to raise funds for Galway Hospice.

Every year, Galway Hospice must raise €1.6 million to ensure the provision of Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services.  Fundraising events, such as the Kiltevna Walkers’ 5k Run, are hugely important to us in reaching this annual target.  Thank you to eveyone who, through wonderful fundraising efforts, make it possible for us to continue doing what we are doing.
