Kevin Garvey Tribute Concert and CD raises €4,035 for Galway Hospice

Many thanks to Des Garvey and the Garvey family who recently presented Galway Hospice with a cheque for €4,035.  The Garvey family launched a  tribute CD and held a concert in memory of the late Kevin Garvey in The Crane Bar on Friday 24th May and kindly donated the proceeds raised to Galway Hospice.

Pictured at the cheque presentation were:
Front row (l-r): Fr. Des Forde, Peter Kelehan, Martin Dunne, Peter Day, Irene Maloney, Michael Craig (Galway Hospice), Leasha Garvey (niece of Kevin), Mary Flanagan, Des Garvey (brother of Kevin), Mattie Hynes and Mick Crehan (Crane Bar).

Back row (l-r): Sean Maloney, Johnnie Mullin, Dessie O’Halloran, Johnnie Finn, Colie Mullin, Greg Cotter and Caolan Garvey (nephew of Kevin).

The concert was a brilliant night of top class entertainment, and was a worthy tribute to Kevin.

Many thanks to the Garvey family for the time and dedication they put into organising this event and for kindly choosing Galway Hospice to benefit from the proceeds. Also thanks to everyone who supported the event or purchased the CD.
