John Coughlan remembers Galway Hospice on his special Birthday

IMG_2358 (Copy)Earlier this year, John Coughlan celebrated a special occasion – turning sixty! Instead of birthday gifts, John decided, for his birthday celebrations, to invite his guests to make donations to Galway Hospice, with a total of €1510 being raised for the Foundation!

Our thanks to John for remembering Galway Hospice on his special day. Thanks also to everyone who made a donation at John’s request.  With such generous friends, we are sure that John had a great birthday party!

Pictured at the cheque presentation, and looking very relaxed and comfortable at Galway Hospice, are two very young gentlemen: (l-r) John Meehan (Galway Hospice) and John Coughlan.

Every year, Galway Hospice must raise €1.8 million to ensure the provision of Hospice Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services throughout Galway city and county.  Galway Hospice depends hugely on the support of the people of Galway to reach this annual fundraising target.  We are very grateful for this ongoing support.
