Hubert Geoghegan’s Card Drive raises €4,500 for Galway Hospice

Many thanks to Hubert Geoghegan and friends who recently presented Galway Hospice with a cheque for €4,500.  Hubert raised the money for Galway Hospice by holding a Progressive 25 Card Game on 9th December last in Labane Hall, Ardrahan.

Pictured at the cheque presentation are:

Back Row (l-r): Conor O’Dea, Vincent Mullins, Agnes Geoghegan, Enda Murray, Joseph Quinn, Michael John Helly and Emmet Quinn.

Middle Row (l-r): Mary Higgins, Annette Nelly, Hubert Geoghegan, Joe Connolly (Patron & Board Member, Galway Hospice), Eimear Geoghegan, Caroline Quinn, Catriona Fahey and Breege Cooley.

Front Row (l-r): Nicola Quinn, Alisha Quinn and Shauna Quinn

Many thanks to everyone who organised and supported this event. Events like this are so important to Galway Hospice in terms of sustainable fundraising. We have to raise €1.5 million every year simply to continue providing existing levels of Home Care and Day Care services.  We wish we could do more!   Thanks again to Hubert and to everyone who supported Galway Hospice through this event.
