Heavenly Voices for Galway Hospice

The choir of Galway’s Abundant Life Christian Centre have been singing on the streets of Galway for the past number of years in aid of Galway Hospice, traditionally on the last Saturday before Christmas.    This year, despite the bitterly cold weather and dangerous road conditions, and consequently smaller crowds on the streets, the choir raised €3145.83 through their vibrant singing.  To date the choir have raised a massive €23,203 for Galway Hospice. Thanks to choir director Rachel Groarke, accompanist Mark O’Mahony and all the members of the choir for their faithfulness every year.  The photo of this year’s performance is courtesy of Daniel O’Brien.  Thanks also to the people of Galway for their very generous support of the choir, and to the volunteers who gave their time to collect money on the day.
