It is said that Christmas is a time for giving. However, our volunteers at Galway Hospice give all year round – selfless individuals who come to support patients, families and staff. In appreciation of our wonderful volunteers, a Christmas party takes place each year at Galway Hospice, where it is staff’s pleasure to give back to those at the heart of the hospice. Also each year, those who have been volunteers at the hospice for many years, are especially recognised during an awards ceremony.
