Galway Arms Golfing Society present €2025 to Galway Hospice

For the 7th year in a row the Galway Arms Golfing Society has championed the cause of Galway Hospice by choosing Galway Hospice as the beneficiary of its charitable Golf Day.  This year’s event was again very successful, raising €2025 for Galway Hospice.

Pictured at the cheque presentation outside “The Bunch of Grapes” are (L-R): Martin Higgins, Pat Kelly, Michael Craig (Galway Hospice), Brendan Kenny, Martin O’Neil and Gerry Gore.

We are very grateful to the Galway Arms Golfing Society for their loyalty to Galway Hospice over the years, and especially to the members who give of their time to organise this event.  Thanks to those who supported the event over the past seven years.  Annual recurring events like this are very important to Galway Hospice in terms of sustainable fundraising, and are also a great encouragement at a time when fundraising has become particularly challenging.  Thanks to all concerned, and well done!
