Gaelforce West – Saturday 20th August 2011

Gaelforce West is the largest one day adventure race of its kind in the world and the multi-sport adventure race is taking place this year on the Saturday 20th August.  The course stretches to approximately 67km from Glassilaun Beach to Westport and involves cycling, running, hiking and kayaking.  En route there are some significant obstacles to cross, including Killary Harbour and the famous holy mountain of Croagh Patrick.
