Connacht Tribune News Feature on Galway Hospice

The Connacht Tribune of 27th August 2010 presented an extensive News Feature on Galway Hospice.  Heading page 8 is an article entitled “Hospice gave family chance to say goodbye to son in his own home”, which comprises an interview with Noreen and John Meehan regarding the final week in the life of their 15-year old son, Lorcan.  An additional extensive item by Reporter Bernie NiFhlatharta, entitled “Hospice radiates brightness and light despite travails of its patients” recounts Bernie’s observations and interviews when she visited the Hospice a few days previously.  A further article “Memorial Walk a fitting tribute to those now gone” details the importance of this Walk both to the participants and to the hospice.  The text of these three articles will be available shortly on the hospice website under “News”.
