Celebrity Chef Kevin Dundon Cookery Demonstration sponsored by local SuperValu Stores in Galway raises €5,000 for Galway Hospice

clip_image002-2-copyCelebrity Chef Kevin Dundon – SuperValu Good Food Karma Ambassador – cooked up a storm in the Clayton Hotel on Thursday 13th October.  Nestor’s SuperValu Group, Flynn’s SuperValu Lackagh, Hughes/ SuperValu Claregalway, Clarke’s SuperValu Barna and Grealish’s SuperValu Moycullen sponsored the event to raise funds for the Galway Hospice.

Kevin served up a most enjoyable evening, with cooking advice, inspiration, and lots of recipe hints and tips. His tasty recipes on the night demonstrated how to get the most from the great value and fresh ingredients available from your local SuperValu.  Hector as MC for the evening was highly entertaining, and the spot prizes went down a treat with those who attended. Local Producers that are part of the SuperValu Food Academy project were in attendance to showcase their wonderful products.

A huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who attended and assisted in making this such a successful event in aid of Galway Hospice.

Pictured at the cheque presentation are (l-r): Brian Sexton (Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland), Julian Flynn (Flynn’s SuperValu Lackagh), Eva Hughes (Hughes’ SuperValu, Claregalway), George Osborne (Nestor’s SuperValu Group), Michael Craig (Galway Hospice) and Leonard Fay (Clarke’s Supervalu, Barna).

Well done and thank you to all concerned.
