Carrabane Foroige Club members raise €2,581.10 for Galway Hospice !

Many thanks to Carrabane Foroige Club who recently presented Emer Molloy of Galway Hospice with a cheque for €2,581.10.  Members of the club put their entrepreneurial skills to good use by making and selling St.Brigid’s Crosses in aid of Galway Hospice, thereby raising this fantastic amount.

Pictured at the cheque presentation are as follows:

Back Row (l-r): Ita Kelly, Emma Stratford, Claire Melvin, Kevin O’Connor, Lauren Cooke, Michael Broderick, Maura Egan, Mark O’Connor, Lauren Dolan, Kevin Broderick, Emer Molloy (Galway Hospice), Sorsha Moran, Sarah Kelly, Michelle Dillion, and Colin Curley.

Front Row (l-r): Rachel Keogh, Ciara Callanan, Niamh O’Connor, Mairead Dillion, Stacey Brady and Rose Ann Brady.

It is particularly encouraging for us when youth groups make the decision to organise an event for Galway Hospice.  This fundraising event by Carrabane Foroige is a credit to all concerned, and we extend our admiration and appreciation to the Members for selecting Galway Hospice to benefit from their efforts.  Well done to all concerned!
