Ballymoe Head Shave raises €5,407.78 for Galway Hospice

Cheque Presentation (Copy)A huge thank you to a very brave man from Ballymoe, Michael Gillooly who allowed his head to be shaved to raise funds for Galway Hospice. The head shave took place in Eddie’s Bar in Ballymoe just before Christmas, in conjunction with a christmas party night in Eddie’s Bar, with the night raising a fantastic total of €5,407.78 for Galway Hospice.

Thank you also to Lisa Moran who carried out the head shaving on the night and a huge thank you to everyone who helped sell raffle tickets, sponsored prizes for the raffle and auction, DJ Cush for entertainment on the night, Eddie’s Bar management and staff for their support, Seamus Connolly for his auctioneering skills on the night and everyone who supported the event.
