Ballyglunin Races supporting Galway Hospice

Now in its eighth year, the annual Horse and Pony Races at Ballglunin have become established as one of the biggest events of its kind in Ireland.  This year’s Ballyglunin Races took place on Sunday 11th July and once again proved to be a hugely enjoyable family event.  To date, Horse and Pony Racing at Ballyglunin has raised in excess of €90,000 for Galway Hospice.  Thank you to all those that supported this event and especially to the organising committee who do an amazing job on a voluntary basis.  Pictured at the presentation of the cheque for €10,300 from this year’s event are (back row): Tom Thomson, Robert Blade, Francis Connolly, Tommy Dooley, David Loughlin, Denny Hynes, Mike Davin, Jason Blade, Tommy Connolly, Paddy Joyce, Paddy Igoe, Cassandra Kyne and Celina Hession. Middle row: P.J.
