Annual ‘Ballygar Truckin’ raises €6,000 for Galway Hospice!

Ballygar Truckin (Copy)Galway Hospice was recently presented with a cheque for €6,000 by members of the ‘Ballygar Truckin’ organising committee, raised through the super group’s annual fundraising event, ‘Ballygar Truckin’. This year’s event included a reversing competition and a truck and tractor run, as well as musical entertainment, face painting and a barbeque.

Galway Hospice greatly appreciates the continued support of the organising committee of this event, together with all of the event’s participants and supporters. Pictured at this year’s cheque presentation in Fallon’s Bar in Ballygar are (l-r): Gearoid Kelly, Des Kelly, Jane Conroy, Collette Coen (Galway Hospice) Michael John Slyman, Noeleen Fallon and Brian Finneran.

Every year, Galway Hospice must raise €1.8 million to ensure the provision of Hospice Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services throughout Galway city and county.  Galway Hospice depends hugely on fundraising events like this one to reach this annual fundraising target.  Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
