Galway Hospice was recently presented with a cheque for €6,000 by members of the ‘Ballygar Truckin’ organising committee, raised through the super group’s annual fundraising event, ‘Ballygar Truckin’. This year’s event included a reversing competition and a truck and tractor run, as well as musical entertainment, face painting and a barbeque.

Every year, Galway Hospice must raise €1.8 million to ensure the provision of Hospice Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services throughout Galway city and county.
