Colm Hughes raises €2,100 for Galway Hospice by selling his late uncle’s car!

img_1758-copyMany thanks to Colm Hughes who recently presented Eileen Nally of Galway Hospice with a cheque for €2,100.  Colm raised these proceeds through the sale of his late uncle Bartley Folan’s car.  Colm wanted to do something special to remember his beloved uncle, by symbolically sowing a seed from the life of his uncle into the present and future of Galway Hospice.

Our thanks to Colm and to everyone involved for choosing Galway Hospice to benefit from this sale. This donation will help us to continue providing our fully-accredited specialist palliative care services to adults and children with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses throughout Galway city and county, and on the adjoining islands, as well as providing support to their families and carers. Well done and thank you to all concerned.
