N.U.I.G’s Chemistry Society raises €500 for Galway Hospice

IMG_0653 (Copy)Galway Hospice was recently presented with a cheque for €500 by members of N.U.I.G’s Chemistry Society. The proceeds were raised through a table quiz organised and co-ordinated by the group earlier this year.

Pictured at the cheque presentation at Galway Hospice are: (l-r) Lisa Doyle, Lola Gbadebo, Patrick Kielty and Joanne Tierney (Galway Hospice, and don’t dream of picking an argument with Joanne while she’s wearing those pointy shoes).

Sincere thanks to the N.U.I.G Chemistry Society for their time and hard work, and thanks to everyone who supported this fundraising endeavour in aid of Galway Hospice. Well done to all concerned.

Every year, Galway Hospice must raise €1.8 million to ensure the provision of Hospice Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services throughout Galway city and county.  Galway Hospice depends hugely on fundraising events like this one to reach this annual fundraising target.  Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
