Many thanks to Christy O’Connor Jnr and friends who raised €202,185 for Galway Hospice through a Celebrity Golf Classic, which was held on the 6th July 2015 at Galway Bay Golf Resort in Renville.
After the golf classic, a gala Black Tie dinner was held in the newly-renovated clubhouse, with live entertainment and an auction, with prizes including a cruiser boat, BMW and the much coveted 18th hole flags from some of the world’s top golfers’ biggest wins in the last years – including Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy and Padraig Harrington.

Christy has been a Patron of Galway Hospice since the very beginning, and has previously organised other very successful events for Galway Hospice.
