Many thanks to Christy O’Connor Jnr and friends who raised €202,185 for Galway Hospice through a Celebrity Golf Classic, which was held on the 6th July 2015 at Galway Bay Golf Resort in Renville.

After the golf classic, a gala Black Tie dinner was held in the newly-renovated clubhouse, with live entertainment and an auction, with prizes including a cruiser boat, BMW and the much coveted 18th hole flags from some of the world’s top golfers’ biggest wins in the last years – including Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy and Padraig Harrington.

Many thanks to everyone who supported this event in aid of Galway Hospice.  Special thanks to Christy O’Connor Junior who, with his organising team, spent almost a year planning the event to ensure its success.  Christy has been a Patron of Galway Hospice since the very beginning, and has previously organised other very successful events for Galway Hospice.  All proceeds from this event go towards the provision of Home Care and Day Care services at Galway Hospice.  Well done and thank you to all concerned.
