Chris, Breda, Julie and Deirdre raise €762 for Galway Hospice

Photo (Copy)Recently, Galway Hospice was presented with a cheque for €762 by friends and work colleagues Chris Conneely, Breda McDonagh and Julie Collins who, together with Deirdre Roche, raised the funds by participating in this year’s ‘Flora Women’s Mini Marathon’ which took place in Dublin on Monday, 2nd June 2014.

Pictured at the cheque presentation are (l-r): Chris Conneely, Mary Tierney (Galway Hospice), Breda McDonagh and Julie Collins.  Absent from the photograph is Deirdre Roche.

Galway Hospice’s Home Care, Day Care and Bereavement Support services cost €1.6 million every year to provide. Galway Hospice receives no State funding for these essential services.   Fundraising ventures, like the Mini Marathon, are hugely important in helping us to provide these services.  Sincere thanks to Chris, Breda, Julie and Deirdre.  Your support is greatly appreciated.
